Job Description

UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO LEAD BOTH AN FQHC AND CAH!

We have a unique administrative opportunity to provide strong leadership for an award-winning collaboration of an FQHC and CAH in North Dakota. This leader would serve as the CEO of both Sakakawea Medical Center and Coal Country Community Health Center in order to continue their success.

The CEO is responsible for effective health center and CAH management to provide quality services, promote positive employee relations and achieve the mission to meet the healthcare needs of the communities served; therefore, the position requires proven successful healthcare experience in either a rural CAH or FQHC and Clinical Staff and Board relations.

The selected candidate must have the ability to adapt to flexible work schedules and frequent interruptions; provide leadership to a diverse group of managers and providers in four locations; and be able to effectively communicate with the public and other community leaders.

Participation in related local, state and regional healthcare associations is required and therefore will include some travel time. As an ambassador to the local communities through community participation, the candidate must reside in the Beulah/Hazen area.

Compensation will be based upon experience and includes a competitive benefits package.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field, and/or a combination of education and experience in healthcare is required.

Must possess detailed knowledge of the operations of a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) or Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and other healthcare-related services.

A minimum of five years of experience in hospital or community health center management and knowledge of ACOs is preferred.
