Provide leadership for UTA to reach its enrollment goals. The Executive Director executes the vision and assignments of the Vice President of Enrollment Management and works closely with the Enrollment Management leadership team and stakeholders on and off-campus. The Executive Director will focus on needs, opportunities, and critical projects of the division in ways that contribute to student success and reaching new student enrollment goals. The Executive Director also leads the Enrollment Research Team.
Work collaboratively across campus and particularly within the Enrollment Management (EM) division to establish enrollment goals and to develop and implement strategies to accomplish these goals. Provide leadership and strategic analysis in the development, oversight, and integration of all aspects of enrollment management. Establish new partnerships and maintain existing ones with education sectors such as ISD’s, community colleges, and community-based organizations. Develop the enrollment research and data capacity in EM, especially through the leadership of the Enrollment Research Team. Monitor and ensure that critical enrollment functions are successful. Coordinate and lead matters related to student information systems. Analyze data and leverage statistical modeling to create and meet enrollment goals, particularly those focused on full-time enrollment, retention, and graduation rates. Represent the university and Enrollment Management at various meetings and training; serve on internal and external committees and councils, as appropriate. Performs other duties as assigned.
A Master’s degree in marketing, psychology, communications, economics, education, or related field. Five (5) years of experience in a college setting with a broad knowledge of admissions, recruitment, communications, and university policies and/or processes including writing, designing, and managing marketing /communication projects or the equivalent experience. Ability to design and execute projects that lead to enrollment success. Ability to write and plan report proposals and project plans.
A Master’s degree. Seven to ten (7-10) years of experience in admissions, enrollment management, academic affairs, or student affairs. Experience with the recruitment of students from diverse backgrounds including high performing students and transfer students. Ability to lead people and projects.
