Job Description

Due to the long term planned pending retirement of our incumbent CEO, Connecticut Institute For Communities, Inc. (CIFC) seeks a full-time Chief Executive Officer (CEO).  The CEO works closely with the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Program Officer.  This position is the leader of the Institute and provides strategic vision, policy development, oversight, and management in regard to all areas, functions, programs, and projects, including program planning, implementation and outcomes, budget and fiscal matters, supervision and training, and community relations/public affairs.  The CEO answers directly to the CIFC Board of Directors.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, plus a Master’s Degree in a related field (such as Business, Health Services, Sociology, Political Science, Law, Government, etc) with five (5) or more years of progressively responsible significant supervisory/administrative experience, or the equivalent.  Strong leadership and computer user skills required:  Excel, Word, etc.  Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply.  Competitive compensation, plus comprehensive fringe benefits package including health care and retirement program.  Send CV/resume and letter of interest to Connecticut Institute For Communities, Inc.
