The Wilmington College Board of Trustees announces the search for the College’s 19 th president, an appointment to become effective in 2021 no later than July 1. Wilmington seeks a president with vision, energy, strength of personality, and an ability to successfully lead this career-oriented, liberal arts-centered college. The president will be expected to energize the College community by encouraging academic entrepreneurism, developing a new strategic plan, providing strong financial management, and expanding the College’s resource base. The opportunity for visionary leadership at Wilmington College is uncommonly attractive. Founded in 1870 and affiliated with the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers), the College hosts 1,111 students this year on its main campus and another 120 at its branch campus in Cincinnati.
