Western Illinois University (WIU or Western) invites applications and nominations for the position of president. The president provides leadership for all activities of the university and is accountable for its overall operation and success. WIU is a regional, comprehensive university that serves approximately 8,000 students at its residential, four-year campus in Macomb, Il, and at its non-residential branch campus in Moline, Il. WIU is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, North Central Association and has been recognized by the Princeton Review as a top-tier Midwest Universities Master’s institution. The University offers 65 undergraduate programs, 38 masters/specialist degrees, two doctoral programs, five pre-professional programs, and 15 post-baccalaureate certificate programs.
